EISENHOWER FIELD DAY – TYRANTS AND SPIES: Eisenhower Field Day - a power-pop trio from Indianapolis, Indiana released their twelve-track sophomore release "Tyrants and Spies" in the spring of 2008. Their sound is modern yet reminiscent of 80s/90s underground rock and has been compared to Husker Du and Superchunk. The trio pens insightful lyrics about life and love. Their music is melodic, catchy and at times edgy especially on tracks 4 & 7. The trio creates a large slice of sound for a three-piece. Eisenhower Field Day brings eagerness, energy and angst to their songs and storytelling!
